Description Ask Hjorth Larsen 2009-09-13 12:46:36 UTC
The following two strings are very unclear.

#: ../programs/gvfs-info.c:155
#, c-format
msgid "display name: %s\n"

#: ../programs/gvfs-info.c:159
#, c-format
msgid "edit name: %s\n"

To most people, 'edit name' is obviously an action, but the gvfs-info command happily lists the 'edit name' of a file, which leads me to believe that is not the case. Same goes for 'display name'.

Could we have some translator comments that describe what exactly is going on here?

Issue is still valid. Any news on this one?
