Description Ruchir Brahmbhatt 2009-09-12 06:36:52 UTC
Since upgrading to evolution 2.27.91, I'm having lots of stability issues. It often hangs and crashes. Just now it hanged in idle state. Below is a back trace.

(gdb) t a a bt

Comment 1 André Klapper 2009-09-17 14:17:25 UTC
Except for sync_request_thread_cb there are no Evolution calls at all in that stacktrace. A better one is required.
Is this 2.27.91 compiled from the tarball?
Comment 2 Ruchir Brahmbhatt 2009-09-17 14:31:49 UTC
Nope I haven't compiled, I installed from opensuse gnome factory repository.
Comment 3 Milan Crha 2009-10-21 16:36:08 UTC
How is it doing with 2.28.0+ please? I wonder whether it's something with your system/libraries, as the trace is really not crashing evolution itself.
Comment 4 Ruchir Brahmbhatt 2009-10-22 05:09:31 UTC
I'm on 2.28 now which is comparatively stable.
Comment 5 Milan Crha 2009-10-22 09:29:44 UTC
Can I/you close this then?
Comment 6 Ruchir Brahmbhatt 2009-10-22 11:25:00 UTC
Yes closing this for now.
