Confirmed. Seems like it's because of the size request when re-parenting the EphyWebView into a GtkHPaned.

The sidebar plugin only supported Mozilla sidebars in the first place, and I don't think anyone uses them any more. Can't we just disable the extension as long as it isn't more functional?
