Comment 1 Akhil Laddha 2011-04-21 09:08:42 UTC
The current stable GNOME version is 3.0
Can you please check again whether this issue still happens in GNOME 2.32.2 or 3.0 and update this report by adding a comment and changing the "Version" field? Thanks a lot.
Comment 2 Akhil Laddha 2011-06-03 06:18:38 UTC
Please feel free to reopen the bug if the problem still occurs with a newer
version of GNOME 3.0.1 or later, thanks.
Comment 3 melchiaros 2013-01-27 18:18:02 UTC
Please reopen this report.

Refering to the downstream report

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/424956

this crasher was first observed with nautilus 2.27.91 and is over different versions observable up to the latest version of nautilus 3.6.3 which is in Ubuntu13.04 developer branch.

At moment 254 people are affected.
Comment 4 melchiaros 2013-01-27 18:19:30 UTC
The old stacktrace is still used by apport to identify dubs. A full new stacktrace is actually not available(I could not hit this crasher, so a direct one from me is not there).

Comment 6 António Fernandes 2013-03-10 19:18:44 UTC
I'll reopen it, then. Thanks for letting us know that this bug still happens.

(Pinging after less than 3 weeks is not that much useful, though. It may take more time than that for someone to triage the bug. Help on bug triaging is very welcome.)
Comment 7 André Klapper 2021-06-18 15:15:04 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version of Files (nautilus), then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/nautilus/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
