The attached files implement the GRing collection, which offers
almost exactly the same features as both GList and GQueue.  You
can search the mailing list archives of gtk-devel-list for more
discussion.

Any reason not to include this in 2.2 ? People seem to be in
favour of it, and theres a 
patch, complete with a testsuite.
