Description William Jon McCann 2009-09-03 20:51:19 UTC
Until bug 594062 is fixed those who have conversations that span multiple devices (phone, multiple computers, etc) will have inconsistent and misleading chat histories on each of those clients. The only valid and complete history is on the server. It would be nice to have a way to not show these local and incomplete histories in the scrollback.

Make sense to me; we should probably have at least one gconf key to disable that.
Comment 2 Jean-François Fortin Tam 2012-08-26 03:25:13 UTC
There's already a global option to disable chat history, and the rest is... well a duplicate of 594062, essentially.
