GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 593944
Can't play youtube videos
Last modified: 2009-09-12 15:36:18 UTC
Created attachment 142341 [details] Error message When I try to play a Youtube video I get an error that says that Totem can't open the location (see attached screenshot). System used was Fedora 10, but I had the same problems on Fedora 11.
Which version of Totem are you using?
totem.i386 2.24.3-3.fc10 installed totem-gstreamer.i386 2.24.3-3.fc10 installed totem-lirc.i386 2.24.3-3.fc10 installed totem-mozplugin.i386 2.24.3-3.fc10 installed totem-nautilus.i386 2.24.3-3.fc10 installed totem-pl-parser.i386 2.24.3-1.fc10 installed totem-youtube.i386 2.24.3-3.fc10 installed
totem.i586 2.26.3-1.fc11 installed totem-gstreamer.i586 2.26.3-1.fc11 installed totem-mozplugin.i586 2.26.3-1.fc11 installed totem-nautilus.i586 2.26.3-1.fc11 installed totem-pl-parser.i586 2.26.2-2.fc11 installed totem-youtube.i586 2.26.3-1.fc11 @updates On the other computer, same problem.
I'm having the same issue with totem 2.27.2. I get: ** Message: no file info ** Message: Error: "http://www.youtube.com/get_video?video_id=jhwwNOr9mFs&t=vjVQa1PpcFNM_V4wBPcySmDyiKer3EA0y0UxlePFccw%253D&fmt=18": Not Found gstsouphttpsrc.c(1096): gst_soup_http_src_parse_status (): /GstPlayBin2:play/GstURIDecodeBin:uridecodebin0/GstSoupHTTPSrc:source: 404 Not Found in the console. Maybe %253 at the end is causing issues? (just guessing)
