GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 593821
Can't show Chinese font
Last modified: 2018-06-29 22:27:50 UTC
Hello, I find it works fine in many features. When I try to make cash flow report, it only shows squares for Chinese characters but I can input Chinese for entry. Is there any settings for fonts to fix it? My PC is Win traditional chinese XP Home SP3 and GNUCash 2.3.2. tempac001@yahoo.com.hk HongKong
After several trial, I found the version of 2.2.9 works fine with Chinese. Thank You!
So, this is in fact, not a bug?
(In reply to comment #2) > So, this is in fact, not a bug? Thank your shortly response. Should I use version 2.2.9 instead of more update version?
Created attachment 143131 [details] sceenshot for report including Chinese characters
I have the same problem, and It works at 2.2.9 My PC is Win Simplified Chinese XP Professional SP3 and GNUCash 2.3.5.
Created attachment 143501 [details] Font problem I have the same problem attachment picture show in 2.2.9 is work ok, but in 2.3.5 is not ok.
Especially with 2.3.X, report font issues were not fixed until later releases (2.3.13 should be good). I'm marking this as a duplicate of the 2.3.X series report font bug. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 616606 ***
