When using the text tool in the new GIMP 2.7.0, i click in the canvas to create the text-box (as normal), and GIMP suddenly crashes. The exact error messages I get are as follows:

--Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library--
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it an
unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

--Gimp output. You can minimize this window, but don't close it.--
This is a development version of GIMP.  Debug messages may appear here.

Pango:ERROR:pangowin32.c:838:pango_win32_font_finalize: assertion failed: (win32
font->fontmap != NULL)


I then get the "gimp-2.7.exe has stopped working" message.


This happens when I am using any font.


OS is Windows Vista.
