Description Luca Ferretti 2009-08-23 10:21:51 UTC
Could be good provide a menu item to open the folder where the file with import error is stored. Something like

  Remove
  Move to Trash
  --------------
  Open Folder

PS the same item could be added in context menu for library item.

Can you explain what you'd use this for?

Mainly to have a direct access to "wrong" file in order perform additional actions (check properties, move in another directory, try to open with a different application).

Currently you have to manually open the file manager and browse to wrong file location. This task could need at least 3 steps: open Music, then open $Artist, then open $Album. Included, of course any scroll you could need.

PS a bit unrelated, but what about show a GtkInfoBar at the bottom of the list instead GtkDialog when you click on error icon? This could allow to expose Remove and Trash actions directly in the UI.

I'd rather a "reveal file", a-la finder. We have a similar need in gnome-bluetooth and a number of other apps.
