Different translations of "Auto Completion"
Last modified: 2009-08-29 23:29:49 UTC
From Evolution: #: ../addressbook/gui/component/autocompletion-config.c:175 msgid "Autocompletion" msgstr "Automatické dokončování" From gnome-applets: #: ../mini-commander/src/mini-commander.ui.h:2 msgid "Auto Completion" msgstr "Automatické doplňování"
Thanks! Looking at such terminology problem, I think we might want to raise this at the l10n mailing lists we use. Not sure though. Meanwhile, I'm CC'ing Jiří Eischmann.
Now that's the question, what to use... :-) An easy method would be to prefer "doplňování" over "dokončování" as we seem to use "doplňování" across the GNOME desktop, however, by this I'm not saying that dokončování should be considered bad translation...
I will conform to whatever you choose. I prefer "dokončování" but if everyone else in GNOME uses "doplňování" I will change it.
"Autocompletion" is translated as "automatické doplňování" from now on. commit fefeb30f58447f2fa7bcbee16dbe68a9333ce89d Author: Petr Kovar <pknbe@volny.cz> Date: Sun Aug 30 01:14:43 2009 +0200 Updated Czech translation by Jiri Eischmann Also fixes bug #591905 & #591862.
