Description William Jon McCann 2009-08-13 13:26:49 UTC
We should remove all of the legacy SM crap for GNOME 3.
Comment 1 Vincent Untz 2009-08-13 15:05:13 UTC
And what would be the plan for applications like, say, Firefox or OOo?
Comment 2 Javier Jardón (IRC: jjardon) 2011-02-08 17:45:47 UTC
Any news about this?
Comment 3 André Klapper 2011-03-03 21:16:57 UTC
[Removing GNOME3.0 target as decided in release-team meeting on March 03, 2011.
This report has an "important" categorisation for GNOME3.0 but is not considered a hard blocker. For querying use the corresponding whiteboard entry added.]
Comment 4 Frederic Peters 2011-03-30 05:39:03 UTC
No point in tracking this for 3.0.

Comment 6 André Klapper 2021-06-14 18:22:07 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version of gnome-session, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-session/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
