Description Tim-Philipp Müller 2009-08-13 10:14:59 UTC
Just came across this after seeing bug #591577. It's a bit sad really, hence this bug report.

At the very very least we should just pick one of the two and go ahead and ignore the other stream instead of erroring out completely showing neither the video nor the subtitles.

I just had this one when playing an MKV with 4 subtitle tracks (1 SSA and 3 VobSub).

commit e91458f13caa92e5c3d15f67f1c0c8b0a23a5c33
Author: Sebastian Dröge <sebastian.droege@collabora.co.uk>

playbin2: Set subtitle caps as raw caps for the uridecodebins

This will make sure that no subparse is ever plugged and subtitleoverlay,
that subpicture streams are handled the same was as subtitles and that
subtitle renderers are used if available.

    Fixes bugs #595123, #570753, #591662, #591706.
