Description nonlisted 2009-08-05 19:57:15 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When playing a playlist (m3u) file from eMusic.com, which consists of one or more streams, each one 25 seconds, Totem doesn't remember volume when changing tracks. When hovering the volume control it does however show (in percentage) the volume iẗ́'s supposed to be. Clicking the button and moving it up to the level it shows, significally raises the volume.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open any m3u-file from Firefox in Totem
2. Play one of the tracks in the playlist, and during this, raise the volume
3. Change to another track in the playlist. Volume is now back to a lower level.

Actual results:
Volume drops between tracks in a playlist

Expected results:
The volume should stay the same between tracks.

Does this happen every time?
Yes

This is fixed in PulseAudio and newer versions of gst-plugins-base/gst-plugins-good.
