Version: 2.27.4 What were you doing when the application crashed? I had just started X, although I had this problem earlier when fooling around with a DVD in the DVD drive. For what it's worth, I'd upgraded * desktop/gvfs: bump version to 1.3.3 * desktop/gnome-applets: bump version to 2.27.4 an hour or so ago. -> gvfs/metadata But probably this is OBSOLETE now. David: did you experience this crash with newer versions of Nautilus and GVfs?
I can't reproduce this with more recent nautilus and gvfs.
Closing as per David's last comment.
