Description Stan Behrens 2009-07-29 08:12:20 UTC
Hi,

I've a monitor-setup like this:
.-------------.
| |
| |
| VGA |
.------.------.
       | |
       | LVDS |
       .------.
Or said with coordinates:
$ xrandr | grep '^\(VGA\|LVDS\)'
VGA connected 1680x1050+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 474mm x 296mm
LVDS connected 1024x768+656+1050 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 0mm x 0mm

The problem is that icons on the desktop which get arranged automatically can appear in the area marked with X and you'll never see them:
.-------------.
| |
| |
| |
.------.------.
XXXXXXX| |
XXXXXXX| |
XXXXXXX.------.
