Description ali 2009-07-25 18:48:16 UTC
Add an indicator that shows how many percent of a specified job are completed. Or a similar type of indicator. Sometimes, some jobs take over 5 hours and I just stare at the computer expecting the job to get done the next moment. Please consider adding this feature in the next version.

Is there any progress here?

Thank you ali for posting this request. Since it is very similar in nature to a previous request I am marking this as a duplicate.

It is extremely difficult to provide progress indicators for all of the functionality within gparted due to the many external commands and libraries used by GParted. This is the main reason for the lack of accurate progress indicators (e.g. a bouncing pulse bar) for some operations within GParted.
