Description Clarence Risher 2009-07-24 16:09:20 UTC
I have a lot of old photos that were previously sorted into folders based on categories. When importing these now I have three options...

1) Import the parent folder with subfolders, re-sort the photos in F-Spot.

2) Import the subfolders individually, adding a different tag on each import.

3) Add tags to the metadata before importing using a script

I would love to see an option in the import dialog to add the name of the folder to each image as a tag during the import process.
