GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 589519
Can't change default calendar view
Last modified: 2011-07-04 20:27:47 UTC
Evolution has no option to make a view stick when changing the date. For example, I want to have the working week view as default and when clicking a new date in the date chooser, it should just update the view with the new working week instead of resetting to day view. Currently I have to manually reset the view to working week view every time I change the week, which is annoying. This is an issue with evolution up to the current version (2.26.1 at the moment)
This bug was reported against a version which is not supported any more. Developers are no longer working on this version so there will not be any bug fixes for it. Can you please check again if the issue you reported here still happens in a recent version of GNOME and update this report by adding a comment and adjusting the 'Version' field? Again thank you for reporting this and sorry that it could not be fixed for the version you originally used here. Without feedback this report will be closed as INCOMPLETE after 6 weeks.
Closing this bug report as no further information has been provided. Please feel free to reopen this bug if you can provide the information asked for. Thanks!
Please reopen this bug, the issue is still present in evolution 3.1.2. To reproduce: Chose any view except the day view in the calendar and click on a day in the small calendar on the left -- after some delay, the view changes to a day view of the selected day. In addition, for the week view, changing the month in the calendar is enough to trigger a change to day view.
