Description Allison Karlitskaya (desrt) 2009-07-19 18:43:17 UTC
empathy currently sets itself to away when i suspend my computer. it does this because the screen is locked by g-p-m just prior to suspend.

the obvious correct behaviour is to disconnect. it should do that.

i'm not sure how it would all work.
Comment 1 Jonny Lamb 2009-07-19 19:23:10 UTC
Empathy already does this -- if NetworkManager goes offline, then Empathy should also set itself offline.
Comment 2 Allison Karlitskaya (desrt) 2009-07-19 19:31:21 UTC
if the network is already down by then then it's not very useful....

from the viewpoint of my friends, upon suspend my account is 'away'.
