Description David Ronis 2009-07-16 17:59:04 UTC
Please describe the problem:
I've got an appointment set for 2:00PM local time (timezone is: America/Montreal). It shows up in the calander in the right place. However mousing over it generates a tooltip that reports the time as 10:00AM, which I suspect means that the timezone is being messed up. In addition, I got the alarm at 9:45AM not 1:45, which is a bit more serious.

This used to work a few days ago, so I suspect that a recent change to libical and/or evo is responsible. I follow the svn/git trunk/master for all of evo and friends and updated/rebuilt yesterday.

Steps to reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Expected results:

Does this happen every time?

I guess it's something with libical, as I even cannot run evolution with the revision 938, same as you had some issues in bug #588487.

As you said on the IRC, the revert fixed this, thus I'm marking this as a duplicate of the other, as it's the same issue on the other place.
