GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 588113
"Playing" state of the tray/status icon is ugly when panel is sized 22px - 25px
Last modified: 2009-07-09 09:37:06 UTC
Please describe the problem: The "playing" state of the status/tray/whatever icon seems to be messed up and looks very unattractive when the panel is set from 22px - 25px tall. If you set it to 21 or less, it defaults to a sharp, small icon, and if you set it to 26 and up, it becomes a nice sharp larger icon. In between, though, it looks like some kind of odd half-sized version of the icon and is extremely unattractive. Assuming I can, there will be an attached screenshot of what I see. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open Rhythmbox, play a song 2. Set panel that the status icon is on to a size between 22 and 25 px. 3. Actual results: The tray icon appears as a downsized/blurry/unattractive version of itself in the "playing" Expected results: A nice, sharp, un-ugly icon appears. Does this happen every time? Yes. Other information:
Created attachment 138074 [details] The unattractive icon in question, as it appears on my screen.
I forgot to mention, I'm using the getdeb.net binary of Rhythmbox 0.12.3 on Ubuntu 9.04.
