Description Acorn Pooley 2009-07-07 04:55:05 UTC
It would be great if you could set a bookmark in a file so that you can easily jump back to a page, or back and forth between 2 or more pages. For example: press "ctrl-m a" to set a bookmark at the current location (the page you are seeing right now). Then move to another page. Then press alt-shift-A to jump back to where you were when you pressed ctrl-j a. This would allow up to 26 'bookmarks' per document (a-z). (Feel free to use whatever keystrokes you like in place of ctrl-m (mark) and ctrl-j (jump).) You could try to save the bookmarks for each document, but even if they are lost when you close the document they would still be very useful.
(The idea is based on the vi commands "ma" and "'a" to make a mark and jump to the mark).
Thanks!
