Description rom 2009-07-01 18:31:34 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Hi,

In French, there are a lot of special characters (é è à ù…).
I wrote a pdf using LaTeX, and if I try to search a pattern (for example "présomption") in my document, it doesn't find anything. If I search "somption" (in order to avoid 'é'), it works…

My pdf is http://dl.rom1v.com/loppsi.pdf

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the pdf
2. Search a string, type "présomption" (or any other word which is in the text and which contains special characters)

Actual results:
It doesn't find the pattern

Expected results:
It should find

Does this happen every time?
yes

Other information:
The header of my LaTeX file :

\documentclass[pdftex]{article}

\usepackage[francais]{babel}

\usepackage[utf8]{inputenc}
\usepackage[bookmarks=false,colorlinks,linkcolor=blue]{hyperref}
\usepackage{textcomp}
\usepackage{pdfpages}
