GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 587393
deleting folders from location bar, problem when second from right
Last modified: 2009-07-09 17:34:51 UTC
Please describe the problem: Nautilus does not refresh correctly when deleting a folder using the right-click on a button on the location bar when the target folder is second or more from the right. Steps to reproduce: 1.(either do the following commands or their equivalents in nautilus.. how the folders are made is not important) mkdir -p folder1/folder2 nautilus folder1/folder2 2.click on the "toggle between button and text-based location bar" if there are not already buttons 3.right-click on the button "folder1" and click on "Move to Trash", Actual results: Nautilus does not refresh and move to the correct parent folder. However, folder1 (and its subfolder) are correctly moved to the trash. Expected results: -If you right-click on the button "folder2" and click on "Move to Trash", it works as one would expect-- it deletes the folder and refreshes into folder1. -If, instead, still in folder2, you right-click on the button "folder1" and click on "Move to Trash", nautilus does not refresh to the correct parent folder. Nautilus should refresh in the folder above "folder1". Does this happen every time? yes Other information:
