Description reno gan 2009-06-29 16:01:01 UTC
Please describe the problem:
I use UML lifeline to draw sequencial diagram. But when i want to use mouse to change lifeline box size, i found it is impossible. Dragging mouse can only move the box upwards or downwards.
I have tried 0.96.1 and the box size does change with mouse dragging.

Steps to reproduce:
1. select UML lifeline shape
2. click the small red rectangle on the edge of lifeline box and hold, drag it upwards or downwards and the size of the box does not change.
3.

Actual results:
the size of lifeline box does not change with dragging

Expected results:
i hope it can change along with dragging

Does this happen every time?
yes

The behaviour change [1,2,3] was meant to be an improvement [4], unfortunately it has grown the descibed side-effect. Also the improvements mentioned in [2] apparently never took place, e.g. making the connection point distance configurable by the property dialog.
I dont have a good idea yet, how to restore the ability to resize with mouse, without loosing the new features.
