Please describe the problem:
when i enable the display of second for the time in clock-applet, then some random second are not displayed but leap frogged by the aplet.
for example, say it is 18:07:05 then 2 seoncds later 18:07:07 is displayed but 06 have never been seen on screen.

it happen 3 to 5 times a minute i.e. five times seconds are not seen on screen

Steps to reproduce:
1. enable second to be displayed in clock-applet
2. watch carefully the applet, and see that some seconds are not shown
3.

some random seconds are not shown

Does this happen every time?

may i say the pc is completly iddle when this happen. i.e. 1.3% of CPU usage and no hdd usage at all
