Description Michael Monreal 2009-06-25 12:26:43 UTC
My setup is the following:

1) Desktop with Ubuntu and vino/vinagre trunk (no firewall)
2) Notebook with Fedora11 and stable vino/vinagre 2.26.x (firewall ports open)

I can connect to either system's vino just fine when manually giving the address from command line, using vinagre <ip> or vncviewer <ip>. I also see both vinos advertised over avahi in vinagre, but clicking on the share results in

Connection close
Connection to host <user>'s remote desktop on <host> was closed

Connecting to the own system's vino this way does not work either. There's no helpful output in either vino's or vinagre's console output.

Hello. Is this still an issue? Sounds like a dupe of #593205.
Comment 2 Michael Monreal 2009-10-26 18:23:45 UTC
With 2.28's vino/vinagre on both test systems this finally works without a problem :)
Comment 3 Jonh Wendell 2009-10-26 18:51:15 UTC
Ok, tagging as a dupe then.
