GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 586807
multiple accounts not offered during MAPI profile creation.
Last modified: 2009-06-24 04:13:17 UTC
Please describe the problem: If I use the mapiprofile command line tool, it finds several accounts that match, I then have the option to select the correct account to create in the mapi_profile.ldb file. In evolution when I go to create a new account, it randomly picks one of the accounts, I can then not login as the profile is different to the account information. Steps to reproduce: mapiprofile --dump-data -c -f ~/.evolution/mapi-profiles.ldb -P "shamilton1@domain.win" -S -I 153.107.9.159 -D "domain.win" -u shamilton1 -p password -M localhost Select a user id: [0] Hamilton, Samantha Lee [1] Hamilton, Sandy [2] Hamilton, Scott [3] Hamilton, Susan [4] cancel operation Enter username id [0]: If I use Evolution I get the error message; exchange-mapi-connection.c:75: Entering mapi_profile_load Loading profile shamilton1@domain.win EcDoConnect : ecLoginPerm (0x3F2) MapiLogonEx : MAPI_E_LOGON_FAILED (0x80040111) When I use ldbedit I can see that the profile created is attempting to use Samantha Lee, Hamilton. Actual results: Expected results: It would be good to see a dialog box prompt the user to select the correct username details to be used, much like the command interface. Does this happen every time? The Forest is made up of 10 different domains, these belong to different autonomous business units, and I assume they have created accounts with the same samAccountName. Other information:
