Description Wiliam Murray 2009-06-21 16:06:07 UTC
Please describe the problem:
This is a long standing issue. Email in evolution
exchange simply disappears. This may be bug 558496.
Currently evolution shows 18 emails in my inbox,
thuderbird using imap sees 53 SCREENS of email.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Make evo exchange setup
2. Receive 100 email
3. wait

Actual results:
Only the last few are reported as existing

Expected results:
To see all of them

Does this happen every time?
I have only 1 exchange account, but connecting to it
on several machines shws the same feature.

Other information:
See Feb. archiver under [Evolution] [Fwd: New message count problem]
There was discussion around Christmas that it was due to spam filter, but turning them all off did nothing. So evo I use as a calendar, thunderbird to read
email. Crazy.

Wait!
Bizarre as it seems, I just got all my email back.
This was one of my first trials with 2.26 (Fedora 11)
and it started by showing me a subset - and then an hour
later all my mail appeared.
I'm crossing my fingers all stays good - but it looks
like someone fixed this!
            Thanks guys,
                    Bill
