Description ArkAngel 2009-06-20 11:30:56 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When scrobbling songs using the Last.fm plugin, songs tend to not be listed as "Now Playing" after ~30 seconds. Last.fm statesthe user is listening using banshee but any track the user is listening to won't be displayed.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Enable last.fm scrobbling, start listening to a song.
2. Immediately check your last.fm page, you can see your "Now Playing" track if you check within 30 seconds.
3. Wait those 30 seconds, refresh, now its gone. Song is scrobbled after it finishes.

Actual results:
Instead of having the song listed as "Now Playing" you only have the last scrobbled track as your recent track. It still says you're listening via Banshee but apparently listening to nothing. After the song is done the track is scrobbled.

Expected results:
I expect to see what song I'm currently listening to.

Does this happen every time?
Yes.

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.

We were send the length of the "Now Playing" track as a decimal value, which was not handled by Last.fm.
I just committed a fix to git master.
