Description Praveen Thirukonda 2009-06-17 09:51:24 UTC
hi I am using banshee on ubuntu jaunty and I think in the libnotify notification bubble that comes it is a bad idea to have the text "now playing " in the notification

 what's wrong with it?

as it is pretty much self explanatory when in the notification a icon for the album cover or default music sign along with the song name etc
comes hence it is useless info

and even with the old notification system it does not provide any useful
info as a arrow from the bubble would point to the banshee icon
so it is understood properly that it is from banshee and hence the message is
unnecessary

hence it just spoils the overall experience instead if the song name was the title part in the notification bubble and along with the album/artist

it makes more sense while not depriving of any info
