GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 585846
Applications only launch on first display on dual monitor setup
Last modified: 2009-06-20 17:44:34 UTC
Please describe the problem: I am running a dual monitor non-Xinerama setup. The first monitor has DISPLAY=:0.0, the second has DISPLAY=:0.1. Applications launched from the panel only show up on the first display, no matter if they were launched from the panel on the second monitor. Neither the menus nor application launchers on the panel work. However, I added a "Run Application" applet to the panel, and launching applications from it works properly. Manually launching applications with "env DISPLAY=:0.1 gnome-whatever" also works. This used to work with 2.24 versions. Steps to reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: Expected results: Does this happen every time? Other information:
