Description Askar Andersson 2009-06-12 20:17:07 UTC
Hi,

A big annoyance for me with Banshee is that I have to use Ctrl+J to jump to currently playing song. This behavior is only found in Banshee, as far as I know, and it's probably something that will confuse new users (it confused me, I was about to report a bug :)).

Three suggestions:

1. Remove the need for CTRL+J all together and always jump to currently playing song on the next track change (this is default behavior in many players).

2. Have a setting that let's the user choose what behavior he would like.

3. (Best solution probably) automatically jump to the currently playing song until you select another item in the list or scroll the list manually. Then it would go back to automatically after 15 seconds (or something) of no scrolling. This way people will not be annoyed when banshee jumps to another track when they are trying to find a song.
