Description Tobias Mueller 2009-06-12 14:55:15 UTC
I have created a "PDF Package" with Adobe Acrobat on Windows which contains a PDF.
The Acrobat Reader displays the inlined PDF, while Evince only shows a cover page.

I expected Evince to display the inlined PDF as the Acrobat Reader does.

Confirmed in 2.29.1 (git master).

However, this is most likely a poppler issue.
Comment 3 Tobias Mueller 2009-11-06 14:42:27 UTC
Are you going to forward that to fdo then?

Just for the record.

Opening the file with xpdf shows the same warning.

Firefox 45.3.0 displays the PDF form just fine.

I overlooked, that there is an option in Evince to open embedded documents. In my case, I am unable to choose the program to open it with, and Akonadi tries to open it. That doesn’t look right.

The libpoppler folks say, as it works with Okular, there is no bug with libpoppler, but with Evince.

Who is right?

I am sorry. This statement is false. I mixed up the non-form version of the file, with the form one. It also doesn’t display.
