Description bugbuddy.20.zsidl 2009-06-05 10:22:38 UTC
What were you doing when the application crashed?
evolution now crashed several times. last time it crashed, i simply clicked on an email.

before that, it repeatedly crashed when i did the following:
1) search for a sender
2) openend an email displayed in the result list
3) while the window was being opened, cleared the search input

this brought in me a crash each time i did that.

now it needs not even that; evolution crashes just like that.

my setting is as follows:
a) using an imap server (in the lan)
b) using several (sub-)folders
c) ... the largest of which is the "done" folder, which contains roughly 8 k emails
d) the inbox contains about 4.5 k emails
