Description Mario Valdez 2009-05-28 06:37:28 UTC
It would be nice to have the option to take several successive pictures (at a configurable rate, from several per seconds to several per minute) and then interpolate the picture to increase the resolution of the image beyond the resolution of the camera using some super-resolution algorithm.

If this seems too complex, I think the image processing can be done offline with other software. In that case it would be nice that Cheese could take several successive images and save them in a lossless format.

MV

You should consider reopening/reassigning this bug to gstreamer.
With a gstreamer SR filter would be pretty easy for us to support it.
