Description Jamie Jackson 2009-05-27 14:38:10 UTC
Please describe the problem:
evo-mapi was processing my Inbox very slowly, and I thought moving some older messages out of my Inbox would speed things up. At the end of this process, I found that evolution-mapi was not reflecting changes I made using another client (Outlook on Windows).

Steps to reproduce:
Here's what happened for me, anyway.

1. Evo: Created a '2009' Inbox sub-folder, and moved some messages into it from my Inbox.
2. Outlook: Moved these messages elsewhere (I think to some other PST).
3. Evo: Went to the 2009 folder.

Actual results:
The message headers still appeared in the message view of the 2009 folder. When I clicked on the messages, I got a message saying something to the effect of "message not present." Refreshing the folder did nothing to get the folder back in sync. I resorted to "rm -rfv ~/.evolution/mail/mapi/myaccount/" to get things back in sync. Restarting Evo also didn't help.

Expected results:
I would have expected the folders to be in sync with the Exchange folder, at least after a "refresh" of the folder.

Does this happen every time?
I don't know if this would happen every time, but I suspect so.

Other information:
jkerihuel thought there might be an existing *evolution* bug filed for this, but I couldn't seem to find it.
