GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 583574
dim / blur background in workspace view
Last modified: 2009-11-13 15:42:34 UTC
The goal of the workspace view is to identify and select windows. Anything that does not facilitate that should be minimized. I think we should dim and/or blur out the background (desktop wallpaper and icons) in this mode.
I think it's a nice idea. Looking at screenshots and screencasts, the overwhelming backgrounds being repeated for all workspaces seemed a bit overstimulating to me. If dimmming+blurring is not expensive, I'd vote for that.
dup'ing to bug 600999, although that's slightly different *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 600999 ***
