Description BobSmith 2009-05-21 13:42:25 UTC
When viewing html messages in plain text evolution makes and includes an html attachment with the message. When receiving lots of html emails then all of those messages show "1 attachment". It would be nice to have an option to turn this on/off in the options.

Sounds like the prefer-plain plugin is malfunctioning again.
Comment 2 Milan Crha 2009-10-29 18:31:16 UTC
It's not malfunctioning, it's showing the attachment to have an ability to see the HTML version of the message. I agree that the attachment bar shouldn't include this HTML part in attachments, neither in "Save all" function. I also noticed that with an HTML message with inline images one can see all the attachments when the HTML part is collapsed, but expanding it hides also all inline images. It has its advantages, but also its disadvantages.

for evolution;

There's the option. I also changed wording of the options as requested
in bug #470291.
