Description Rigoberto 2009-05-20 02:38:43 UTC
My feature request is to be able to set (via for instance a command line parameter or an environment variable) Evolution's data directory.

I need to constantly switch between different computers that have both
GNU/Linux and FAT formatted Win32 Operating Systems. If this feature is implemented Evolution will be able to read user files stored on a USB external hard drive. In this way I will be able quickly and easily switch between computers.

The way forward is to store Evolution data and cache files according to the XDG Base Directory Specification [1], whose defaults can be overridden by environment variables.

However this is already on file in Bugzilla, so closing this as a duplicate.
