Description Jan Rüegg 2009-05-18 08:09:22 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When using cheese to display an image captured from an iSight webcam on a Macbook, the image is all green, as described here:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/cheese/+bug/349255

This happens also when opening the gstreamer-properties and doing a "Test" on the default input. To make it work, I have to give the custom pipeline "v4l2src device="/dev/video0" ! videoscale", which then gives correct colors in the gstreamer test, but still not in cheese.

Indipendent of that, the webcam works fine in programs like skype etc...

I will be glad to provide further information, when needed. My system:

64-Bit Archlinux, MacBookPro, uvcvideo drivers

Steps to reproduce:

Does this happen every time?
