Description Gabriel Burt 2009-05-12 00:14:53 UTC
When the user checks "write metadata to file" or "update file and folder names", they should get a simple dialog with three options, 1) cancel, don't [write-to-file|rename] 2) do it only for future changes to tracks or 3) apply retroactively to N tracks

To implement this within the job, we can change the do-something condition from "DateUpdatedStamp > LastSyncedStamp" to

"DateUpdatedStamp > LastSyncedStamp AND DateUpdatedStamp > $time-pref-checked" if the user chose non-retroactive, and

"DateUpdatedStamp > LastSyncedStamp OR $time-pref-checked > LastSyncedStamp" if retroactive choosen

Banshee is not under active development anymore and had its last code changes more than three years ago. Its codebase has been archived.

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect
reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather transfer the project
to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is being shut down) if anyone takes the
responsibility for active development again.
See https://gitlab.gnome.org/Infrastructure/Infrastructure/issues/264 for more info.
