Description Jean-François Fortin Tam 2009-05-10 14:37:42 UTC
I noticed that memory usage is kept at ~38 Mib when importing clips to the source list, but when adding them to the timeline, it skyrockets (~200 MB for 74 clips, without thumbnails and waveforms).

Removing clips or clicking the "new project" button does not seem to free any memory.

I don't know how feasible this can be (with my vague knowledge that python is the one automatically managing memory?), but I think it would something interesting to report/look into. Not everyone has 8 GB of ram ;)
