Crash happens when displaying the attachment.

Shell says
Gtk:ERROR:gtklayout.c:394:gtk_layout_move_internal: assertion failed: (child)

Reproducible.
Comment 2 Matthew Barnes 2009-05-09 23:32:35 UTC
I was seeing too for awhile this too in various other circumstances. There may have been an undocumented ABI break in GtkLayout, I'm not sure. It eventually went away when I upgraded GTK+ and rebuilt Evolution (the upgrading GTK+ part might not matter... this is all hypothetical).

Is this Evolution 2.24.5 you're running?

Wonder if I should just push a rebuild to Fedora Updates.

Good lord my English is bad today...

I was seeing GtkLayout crashes too for awhile in various other circumstances.

Comment 4 Akhil Laddha 2009-05-11 04:30:03 UTC
It should be a dupe of bug 344076. I also had a mail which used to crash with same traces.
