Description Andrei 2009-05-06 19:58:42 UTC
When I say "quick search" I mean next feature:
type few letters. For example "De" in the home folder. Input "Search" will appear, and cursor will jump to "Desktop" folder.

In the gnome-commander I should press Enter for close search input, and else one press Enter for enter the Desktop folder.
It's more comfort, if user could enter the folder by one, not two Enter pressings.
Seems like a minor thing, but, krusaders behavior is really more comfortable (IMHO)

Else one thing - i think not case sensitive search is more comfortable.

Why not have the Alt+Gr key + typing the letters for searching as a quick way to search in the current folder?

I like this feature in Total Commander its a bit dodgy but works quite well to get to the first result that you search for. Then hit escape or so to exit the search method.
