GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 581376
Scrollbars are lost when a new tab is created
Last modified: 2009-05-04 21:29:36 UTC
Please describe the problem: When a new tab is created with CTRL+T, the original tab loses its scrollbars. Steps to reproduce: 1. point nautilus file manager to a directory with many files (so that scrollbars are needed) 2. press CTRL+T 3. Actual results: A new tab is created showing the same directory. The new tab has scrollbars, but the original tab loses them, making it impossible to browse all content. Expected results: The original tab should keep its scrollbars (the two tabs should be identical). Does this happen every time? Yes. Other information: Closing the 2nd tab makes the scrollbars appear again on the original tab. Also, additional tabs (3rd, 4th etc) are created correctly, with scrollbars.
