Description Arky 2009-05-04 18:40:31 UTC
Clock shows up as toggle-button without any proper description.

Other information:
Looks like regression bug introduced somewhere between 2.24.x and 2.26.0
Comment 1 Willie Walker 2009-05-07 15:18:59 UTC
This might be an accessibility regression - Li, can you take a quick look to see if something broke somewhere?
Comment 2 Li Yuan 2009-05-13 08:04:23 UTC
I have tried on 2.24.1 and 2.26.0. And can reproduce the bug on both versions. There is a label on toggle button, maybe we should add label for/labeled by relation for them.
Comment 3 Arky 2010-01-22 06:19:43 UTC
Any chance this can be issue be resolved soon.
Comment 4 Arky 2010-02-26 16:35:10 UTC
Li, Can you please fix this bug for the 2.29.x release.
Comment 5 Sajjad Anwar 2010-05-04 04:31:33 UTC
In 2.30 release, the clock is still inaccessible. It is reported as 'panel'. Or the label 'Click to view your appointments and tasks' is read instead of the Date and Time.
Comment 6 André Klapper 2020-11-06 20:23:02 UTC
bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org. We are closing all old bug reports in Bugzilla which have not seen updates for many years.

If you can still reproduce this issue in a currently supported version of GNOME (currently that would be 3.38), then please feel free to report it at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-panel/-/issues/

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
