Description mxyzptlk 2009-04-29 02:01:46 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When trying to remove a downloaded podcast, right-clicking on the file in Banshee and choosing "Remove downloaded file(s)" SAYS the file is removed, but only in Banshee.

Check the podcast directory, and the supposedly removed file remains on the hard drive.

If a user is a heavy podcast listener, this can take up a good chunk of hard drive space quickly.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Download a podcast
2. Right-click on the downloaded podcast and choose "Remove downloaded file(s)
3. Check the podcast directory; the file remains on the hard drive.

Actual results:
The downloaded file is not removed.

Expected results:
The downloaded file should be removed from the hard drive.

Does this happen every time?
Yep

Other information:
x86, Ubuntu 9.04, Banshee 1.4.3, Mono 2.0.1-4. Seems similar to Bug 573902, but that was for Banshee 1.4.2. I've tried this on both Banshee 1.4.3-3 and 1.4.3-4~hyper1 in from the Launchpad Banshee Team PPA.

I cannot reproduce this in git master, it seems the patch from bug 558121 fixed it.

I'm closing the bug, feel free to reopen if you are still seeing the problem.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
