GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 580460
Focusable for menuitems should appear when parent is opened
Last modified: 2018-02-10 16:22:29 UTC
Please describe the problem: I'm not sure if the Focusable state should appear on normal Menu elements of applications (the first level of them: File, Edit, View, Help...) because you may think that they are Focusable if they have an accesskey and you press it (with Alt+accessKey). However, I'm sure that, after opening a first-level menu, their children should be Focusable because you can use the normal keyboard arrow keys to reach them Steps to reproduce: 1. Open gedit. 2. Open accerciser, and go to the "Select All" menuitem, open the Accessible interface to see its states. 3. Click on the Edit menu of gedit. Actual results: Nothing. Expected results: "Select All" element should now have the "Focusable" state. Does this happen every time? Yes. Other information:
I can reproduce this.
Confirming, according to comment#1.
